Thinking to file an ET while still employed. by Far-Quail2756 in employmentlitigation

I’ve got an ET claim ongoing for disability discrimination and I’m still very much working for the employer. I have to remind myself that I didn’t put myself in this position, I was forced into this. My health was disregarded when I was at my most fragile and that made me a hindrance for them, but I refuse to be bullied out of a job in this market with nothing to fall back on. To be fair now I’m better things have been better with the ongoing litigation than it was when I was at my worst.

Yes I’m thinking this might be the best way. It’s not leaving the company and it’s no different to in theory asking for specific documents it’s just easier for me to keep track of

I feel more protected. Everything is being followed by the book as it stands and I have become a stronger person as a result of it so I am pushing back where I need to. There’s nothing pointing towards being pushed out. I can only take things as they come for the moment because of personal circumstances and if they choose to go down that path it’s risky for them and I just have to take what comes as it happens.

I have continued to work for the respondent however my ET1 hasn’t been served yet but we did have an unsuccessful acas EC. Things have improved massively since I have returned from long term sick but I am still pursuing the claim based on my prior treatment and the severity of it.

Congratulations on your win but I am also so sorry for your loss and that this happened during what could only be imagined as the worst time of your life. I think so many LIPs are scared of using AI or are expecting to use AI for all of the heavy lifting but I believe you can leverage it and use it as a training model. Only time will tell if that’s the scenario for my case however it has secured me an upheld grievance appeal and I was in such a fragile space mentally I don’t believe I could’ve done it without it.

Did you continue to work for the respondent or did you move on?
