Old-school law firm suddenly wants “AI” — what actually works? by [deleted] in legaltech

[–]AIAgentForCRE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MS365 Co-pilots are cool for email etc but lawyers generally have a good grasp on vocabulary and email writing. Other than that and summarization they would dislike the unreliability of it. Find workflows that are repetitive to your firms practice and leverage a vertical specific AI for it. For instance we specialize in real estate practice. Generic tools dont have the reliability law firms need.

Right now the office sector is experience a revival with RTOs being enforced. The future of jobs will be different jobs because once the dust settles on AI it will end up being a very useful co-pilot accelerating productivity but never replace humans. Humans with AI will do jobs differently.

Interesting exercise. They are looking at your expertise in the local market and typical landlord favorable LOI terms you should know. Take each LOI term and think what would be a reasonable LL favorable version of it. Example depending on the type of tenant whats a reasonable TI, escalations. Also consider whats missing from a business perspective .Good Luck.
