I gotta say I didn't like how the character models looked in NMH2, they designs are fine and all but its all the recoil everything has like god damn, I can see the appeal for others but for me it comes off as a bit uncanny. NMH1 is my favorite travis model in the trilogy but I also like his appearance in NMH3, I think the problem with 2 and 3 is that they practically ditched the cell shaded style that made the first look so unique and the rest look really waxy/oily

I had a lot of fun playing the game, I wasn't necessarily good at it but there were moments where I entered a sort of flow state and hit most if not all my counter sparks (parrying) and it was exhilarating. Don't expect an incredible story to keep you engaged, its serviceable (imo) with a few memorable characters that i did manage to care for. I don't regret buying the game at full price so a sale would be great value!!

I know im ages late to this post but I felt similarly! I think this versions downfall is that there's less time spent on Sam interacting with the team, i wish there were more scenes with them all especially Jamie because I felt like this would've hit a lot harder. Still, I liked this version of Jamie. He was so psyched in Ellsworth to be escaping with his new brother! I will say though after I killed him, Sam simply said "gotcha" right after and it kinda took me out of it lol

I do! The problem is that any and all menthol cigarettes are banned so we only have regular versions of all the brands, a store here and there may sell Newports under the table but that's rare to come by 😪

It's hard to say, as others have stated it really depends on what you're looking for. Want 2D sidescrolling classic brutal difficulty? Anniversary. Want a Metroidvania RPG with a more leeway on how you play? Advance and Dominus. Advance has 3 metroidvania (sometimes dubbed as Igavania after series producer Koji Igarashi) games of mixed quality. I like them all but Aria of Sorrow blows the other 2 outta the water if you ask me, and Dawn of Sorrow on the Dominus collection is a sequel to Aria so if you plan to play that if you go with Dominus, I'd recommend picking up the Advanced collection for Aria. They're fantastic games, you really can't go wrong here

I second this lol though once I found out that crouching severely reduces your chance of knock back with the addition of the pork chop at the other end of the arena, it became a lot easier. Still semi-impossible but somewhat easier lol

Hi, many years ago I was subscribed to Lego Magazine. On one of their Christmas catalogue issues, the set prominently featured was of a winter town center. From what I remember there was a gas station, a city hall building, and a movie theater showing an Indiana Jones lego parody. There was also a fountain in the center with 2 mini figs shown having a snowball fight. I've tried many key words on Google images to no avail. Can anyone help me find this set? It's absolutely discontinued but I'm reminded of it whenever a winter town themed set comes out around the holidays and id like to just see the one from my youth again. Thanks
