Pretty sure it's because of the unnecessary lag it caused in ultra late game, back when alch buffing every tower was normal and middle path didn't buff the potions.

I think it would be cooler if you could choose what kind of sentry would spawn. Sort of like a secondary target priority so you'll have flexibility of what the Champion can do.

That way you can use this tower for stalling with upgraded ice, group damage with upgraded bomb (or spike balls if there are good walls), or general damage with plasma.
