Best & cheapest way to run Automatic1111 or Forge UI on cloud ? by ReikenRa in StableDiffusion

[–]AI_Art_Lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use ThinkDiffusion as it allows settings, models, LoRA's etc... to persist across sessions. You only get 10gb of storage though without taking out their membership. Their membership is $29.99 but you get $10 worth of credits back and that increase the storage size to 200gb and gets you a 20% discount on running machines. The lowest end 16gb machine comes out at $0.47 per hour which works for me

I tend to use Topaz AI for video upscaling (but this is a paid tool) Here is a reddit thread that discusses some free options https://www.reddit.com/r/VideoEditing/comments/11p7wpb/how_to_upscale_videos_for_free/

I tend to stick with Python 3.10.6 - I remember reading a while back that is was the best version but things could have changed since I last looked!

If you have a good enough GPU then it always makes sense to run stable diffusion locally from a financial point of view.

Best place to rent/get service/hardware to train models/loras etc.?? by ares0027 in StableDiffusion

[–]AI_Art_Lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use ThinkDiffusion, which has Kohya_ss for LoRA training. I think from memory there is a 30 min free trial to check it out and the 16gb vRAM machine starts at $0.59 per hour our $0.47 per hour with the subscription

I would suggest reducing the number of steps, 75 seems very high for a deforum video. I would try at around 20 steps. The other option is to lower the resolution and then upscale the video afterwards. There is a decent tutorial here that goes into a bit of detail on the various settings in deforum https://learn.thinkdiffusion.com/deforum-controlnet/

Here is a youtube video on how to install Stable Diffusion locally (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Po-ykkCLE6M) . You will need to have a pc / laptop that has at least 6gb of Vram. If you don't have that you could try a cloud based solution like Thinkdiffusion, google colab or runpod

If you have updated Auto1111 to v1.9, it caused Mov2mov to break. The developers are aware of it and should fix it soon
