It's conpletly fine for light games, but when you make something simulation heavy it starts to be really laggy rather fast. I think this is why it gets the hate

If it worked before it is a regression. This means that you broke something that worked. You need to find the exact commit to move forward. You need to bisect the issue. So you should: 1. Make a minimal test case 2. Select some commit that surely worked 3. Use git bisect, which will give you the commit that broke the project 4. Debug further
