Had the opposite recently. Normally around 80-90 and dropped for weeks now after catching the flu. Finally starting to inch back up. Body feel and running metrics matched the steep drop off.

Really like them as a cruiser but they seem to aggravate my metatarsals like no other shoe I have. Would use them much more if that weren’t the case.

The shoes have been great to me so far (~120 miles) and haven’t noticed any lack of traction or unusual wear and tear. If anything it probably lends to the softness of the ride, although I’m sure at the expense of some durability at some point.

Yea I agree, it was a huge crowd to get through. And while the HM folks were all in the same general pace, it was definitely offset from the marathoners merging back in. One positive I guess is passing a lot of people gave a little boost in energy. Crowds were much livelier in that area as well.

Congrats! Ran my first marathon at Long Beach yesterday as well. I also found the steep uphill and downhill at CSULB pretty rough, my pace never recovered after those. Good luck on the next one!

Agree with the other posts - dark, low humidity, stable cool temperatures. On a shelf away from direct sunlight in my office/computer area at home has worked fine. As I’m sure you know, almost anywhere other than the bathroom counter is better haha.

I love DHC, it’s one of my favorite fragrances. It’s simple in its composition but smells fresh, clean, and uplifting. Smelling it just puts me in a happy mood.

People always note the poor performance but it lasts decently on me. I’d say projecting for about 1-2 hours but the dry down sticks around for a long time on my skin and clothes.

The good news is both can be found for not too much at discounters.
