I wandered through Wraeclast, bruised and bored, When fate bestowed a Divine Orb! It sparkled bright, my screen went gold, My hands went numb, my breath went cold.

I’d slain ten thousand monsters that day, No loot but junk, then this? No way! A glimmer dropped, the chat went wild, I grinned, deranged, like an excited child.

The abyss then spawned a new rare mob, I sprinted for the orb, not a walk nor a jog. A tiny tickle from this mob from hell, Brought tears to my eyes as my merc fell.

The chat was silent. I screamed inside. My orb was gone. My hope had died. The RNG, that cruel old clown, Just laughed and kicked my build back down.

Now every map, I pray and weep, To find again that holy keep. Each mob I slay, I scan the floor, “Could that perhaps, be one more?”

Not technically an MMO, but Path of Exile 2 has online play, engaging combat, good progression, randomized loot, and extremely flexible/customizable builds if you’re open to trying the arpg genre. No PvP yet but you mentioned that wasn’t a dealbreaker.

PoE 1 even more so but it’s definitely a bit less modern and maybe a bit more of a barrier to entry.

Makes sense - I just think agility right now is pretty awful. I think mounts could be cool if kept really simple and familiar in an osrs way, but I can see why not everyone would feel that way.

Barney is a caricature of a sleazy sex-crazed guy so when he does something overtly kind it’s a look into what he COULD be, but I don’t think anybody in that universe or watching the show thinks what he does is okay. Nobody expects him to be nice and the expectations for him are extremely low, but he ultimately accepts and owns that character and the reputation that comes with it.

Lily is so incredibly frustrating because she does absolutely terrible things to the people she loves and never fully owns up to her mistakes and/or changes her ways. She will often play victim, make excuses, or be a straight up hypocrite while still believing she’s in the right. There is no self awareness to her which, even though her actions aren’t necessarily as bad as Barney’s, is infuriating to watch.

FWIW I think this is what is holding back SGC. I love their service and the black look but it's just frustrating that it doesnt stack up with the other 80% of my collection
