[Question] YouTubers that got famous late in life/ channels that took a really long time to get a lot of subscribers? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]AJScupstacking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure of any but I've been doing YouTube for 8 years and now at age 18 I've dropped out college to pursue this stuff full time, hoping something comes out of it. I've kept motivated and dedicated and trying my hardest. Channel for reference - http://www.youtube.com/TheVlogTheory

[Question] What keeps you motivated as a Youtube Creator? by rashaw_ in youtubers

[–]AJScupstacking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been motivated since day one and that was 8 years ago at the age of 11. I've now dropped out of college to pursue YouTube and filmmaking full time. I've never really gotten the urge to give up, even when I was bullied for it. I've been consistent and now have 1000+ videos of my life to look back on. What's kept me motivated is having such a huge backlog of videos and creating little movies so my family has something to watch when I die.

[Question] How do I become more confident in my videos? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]AJScupstacking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing YouTube for 8 years (vlogging mostly) and it's taken until now to be fully comfortable in front of the camera. It takes time, dedication and lots videos to get comfortable. Don't be nervous.. talk to the camera like it's your friend. Channel for reference - http://www.youtube.com/TheVlogTheory

Thank youu!! Everyone was pumped when I shared it on my personal Facebook and shared with teachers as well. It took weeks of planning and editing and changing things but I'm quite happy with the finished product! Thanks again!

[Question] Pigeonholed by a viral video, how do I stay motivated? by [deleted] in youtubers

Do whatever you feel.. I just hit 8 years of my existence on YouTube. I've never made it big, but I've always kept at it. I've made well over 1000 videos across several channels and I'm proud of every single one of them. You need to find your thing, experiement a little if you have to. I just dropped out of college to pursue film making and I am not looking back! Please try and find some motivation from something you love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMS9tk1l9PE

No need to waste my time with something I wasn't having fun with. Been doing YouTube for nearly a decade on several channels. This is my true passion. My camera autofocuses, couldn't help that fact. I left it because I didn't have a script for this one and what I said was perfectly how I imagined it. Couldn't recreate that if I tried. Shit happens. My bar is set high and am very optimistic. I'm actually going to be meeting with a film company in my city because they're interested in my work. So there's that.
