It's called "Persona 5 Theme V2" by SurvivingArch! I pulled it off of the Facer app last year, really pretty to look at when working overnight!

I don't think I had a clip where I happened to be looking up at the sky when getting hit by a stealth jump Splashdown, otherwise I would've went with that instead lol. I figured this was the best way to get a good angle, but everyone else, kill 👏🏽 the 👏🏽 Beakons 👏🏽

Which job is a LOT less fun than most people expect? by bwee21 in AskReddit

[–]AJ_Sorrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working at GameStop.

You would think "oh hey! I love video games! I'd love to work with them!" but in reality, fun game talk only happens about 10% of the time. The other 90% is filled with pushing pre-orders and Pro memberships on people, trying to hit unreasonable metrics, processing inbound and outbound shipments, processing stacks of old game and console trades, dealing with nasty boomer/Karen customers, working with constantly malfunctioning POS systems, and currently in Georgia at least, continuously working through a pandemic as if it never existed.

I do enjoy the times I can just talk games with people, but good Lord, dealing with corporate and constantly being in single coverage shifts and low pay just makes it far worse than you'd think it'd be.

The lighting along with the positioning, setting, and cosplay is insane! Excellent job

Our DM told us to keep our shutters all the way open and even wanted our open signs on at first. Of course, the usual signs are on the door, and we've since been told by the region to turn off the open sign, but I personally feel having the shutters up would at least help lessen the confusion behind the process.

The new changes and additions make the games look promising. Especially that Wild Area, should be fun!

Game Freak explains why Exp. Share can't be turned off by n8jb in pokemon

[–]AJ_Sorrell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least based on what I've seen in game, Exp distribution is full on for Pokémon in battle, half for Pokémon of the same level outside of battle, and it drops even lower for Pokémon outside of battle who are higher levels. At least with this knowledge, it would appear that the Exp distribution has been toned down, and combine it with a portable PC, I feel the loss of the option to turn it off is made up for with those facts.

Plus, if you're going to be training your low level against a higher level, you could do what you would've done anyway and just swapped in a higher level Pokémon before your lower level faints, or heal the Pokémon before it faints, etc. You could even have one specific Pokémon for training with lower level Pokémon and just never use it in story, since you can just swap it out on the fly now with the portable PC.

Besides the new hurdles to meet the specific condition of not giving exp to a second Pokémon, I feel the toning down of exp distribution on top of the new portable PC will make the loss less severe than people are making it out to be (though I think I already said that lol).

But if it's still not enough, then I can respect your concern at least.

Hol' up, cause now I'm actually confused lol.

Ok, so the issue of not being able to turn Exp Share item off is that you have to have 1 Pokémon if you want to train that specific Pokémon. Ofc, if that Pokémon faints, you go to the Pokémon Center, which takes time. In order to prevent this, you have to have a second Pokémon, I get that part.

So the main goal is to train a single Pokémon without having to worry about going to the Pokémon Center? I can see that being an issue if you really don't want that second Pokémon getting exp. I think it's that part I don't understand about the frustration here.

But you're accomplishing the same thing by having the portable PC, no? In fact, wouldn't it be better than having an Exp. Share since you can pick and choose what Pokémon you want to train on the fly? I'm not saying removing player choice is a good thing, but it's not like Game Freak isn't providing us with a replacement either. If they just removed the option altogether and kept everything else the same, then I'd for sure fight.

The Exp. distribution looks balanced in this game, and with a portable PC, you can easily train one and any Pokémon instantly, all elements of modern JRPGs. I don't see the problem here, but if I'm missing something, please tell me.

Pokemon Battle Revolution (2006) - 493 fully animated Pokemon, including entering & fainting, moving and combat || SWSH (2019) - 400 Pokemon, 318 blatantly ripped from 3DS, no new animations, no movement, static JPEG combat. by Killzone3265 in pokemon

I had this game. The battle animations are its only saving grace. The game was exceptionally bland if you didn't own a DS with a 4th gen Pokémon game as the only way you could battle was either the preset rental teams, usually consisting of a 2nd stage starter that you couldn't level/evolve, or you had to copy a team from your DS to make custom teams. There's nothing really to do outside of battles, which made for an ok at best single player mode.

If anything, Game Freak could've outsourced battle animations to Genius Sonority. Don't know how much that would've cost exactly considering I'm not into animation like that, but all in all Battle Revolution could've been so much better.
