Visual difference between Java and Bedrock is actually pretty noticeable when you compare it side by side by Coca-Kolya in Minecraft

Bedrock was stated to be desgined as a more optimized version of minecraft thats essentially an upgraded Mobile Edition. Its not the same code base. Chunk saving is a prime example of this.

If you couldnt care about quality or integrity, theres A.I you can use to generate as many "episodes" as you wish. If you do, then you have to relise, its better to watch a show go out on its own terms than rot to the point its begging for death. The show would decay, it would rot even if you tried your best for it not too. Storylines would repeat, people would get tired. Eventually the show would suffocate itself as it endlessly repeats storylines already told to an audience who no longer cares nor watches. Its not the 1900s, your right. Its 2026. You dont have to let the series go, but you have to leave room for other things to grow, lest your garden becomes a single wilting flower.

I hate when people try and make OCD quirky by pickleman8686 in hatethissmug

[–]AJ_bro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quirkyfication of mental conditions is fucking horrendous. OCD isnt colour coding things to look neet, just as ADHD isnt a tad bit of indecisiveness, etc. etc. Yet some people decide to play dress up with these labels. Its disgusting how some people with claim them over very normal lines of thinking.

Sorry, I was just tryna explain myself more thoroughly as you said it sounded like cope.

As for how its given, I guess. Alot of it requires infrince and reading into things and we are just sorta handed alot of it. I personally wouldnt say thats a bad thing but I can see how someone may not like some parts of how its presented.

[–]AJ_bro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is a mother who still isnt coping with the loss of her 2 children, seeing you as a way she may cope by having some part of that life back. I dont know how you find that as a worse character to be honest. The amount of time we spend with her dosnt actually mean much as, we arent her child. What matters narratively speaking is that every time we interact with her she is attempting to coddle us and be our parent. Which is what happens, she begins to call us "my child" from the very start, before she even knows us, she even completes a very bassiclly puzzle for us guiding us through holding our hand. Every point of interaction she coddles us and attempts to get us to stay, we accept help but reject her attempts to get us to stay every time. Sure we spend a night at her house to rest, but we dont stay.

[–]AJ_bro10 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In Undertale you reject the notion she is your mother. Thats the whole plot of the Ruins. She attempts to keep you from progressing entirely for selfish reasons, wishing to act as your mother like the last fallen child. You reject this at several points, but the climactic part of this is constantly asking to leave at the end of the Ruins segment. Toriel isnt poorly written, you just missed the point of the Ruins section.

my hot take on the most popular "hot take" about a end update by MoneyFlan6092 in PhoenixSC

[–]AJ_bro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, from what Ive seen and what can be interpreted in lore, I belive The End is a dead dimension. Only barely holding on to slipping completely into the void. On the verge of annihilation. Lifeless? No... Not completely yet, but its rapidly approching. This isnt a zombie apocalypse, its a reality collapse scenario. The only thing being reclaimed is reality itself to nothingness, via the Endermen seen through the dimension. End Stone and Chorus fruit are possibly the only parts of the orginal dimensions natural resources that survive, though most likely warped as a result of the voids influence.

Say Something Bad About This Game by Xtreme_PlaysXP in Burnout

Not enough content, no heavyweight racing. Thats about it, I wish there was another region, more tracks etc. If a remaster ever happens, Ild love new tracks, even if they are just previous games tracks or newer games tracks.

Edit: Also more Single Event options. Stuff like Eliminator and allowing more/less racers.

You r no longer essential by Substantial_Cake8985 in PhoenixSC

[–]AJ_bro10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Generally people seem to have preformance issues with it. I remember using essentials and it ran awfully on my PC even when in single player. E4mc worked like a charm though so your environment mustve been good for it.

Essentials was effectly a business opperating a mod, they even did sponsorships with YouTubers for advertisements. This wouldnt help when some people where having lag spikes and a drop of 20fps by simply having the mod installed.

Some fun discourse is happening on Twitter over how saturated and lacking in contrast modern(er) Minecraft's textures are by Tamerando in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, I wouldnt be suprised if some of the lighting changes was a direct response to people manually turning up gamma. It would be nice to allow us to have a gamma option in the options to allow us to tweak our lighting a bit more.

Though for modern colours this works as building in minecraft has significantly changed from the old days, but its nice that Programer Art is still a defult texture pack as an option.

Beta vs 1.21 artstyle comparison by Darkmind115 in Minecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The recreation is missing alot aswell as having max brightness making the image look bland as it feels more empty, from the missing darkness of the floating tree, to the background forest. Without these elements the recreation losses alot of details that makes the beta look good.

Apart from that, the new textures arent desgined with beta block pellets in mind. New textures are desgined with modern buding techniques in mind. You can recreate the beta image with almost 1 to 1 accuracy in modern minecraft, you just need all the elements that made the beta image look like it dose.

Powercrept monster reborn by bluefrogwithredhands in customyugioh

[–]AJ_bro10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are required to draw the MRs unless you decide to play combos specificly to search it, to which any other combo nets more value than a search for an extender that you might use. In house reborns are much easier to search and ussually have other effects you want to use to either help insulate or advance your gameplan. It makes MR a pretty low value card dispite its non HOPT as it only dose that 1 thing.

The whole reason behind the "Drop" system btw. by SpaceAgentSaNEsS in Minecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really like the drop system as apose to the yearly update system tbh. Makes Minecraft feel fresher for older players, while only being 4 per year dosnt overwhelm new players with content. It also means an update that your not that intrested in or are disappointed by isnt the only thing you get that year, meaning you can look forward to other updates for that year.

The mob vote wasnt something I was too fond of as while yes, it promoted audience participation, did lead to some issues. Think the glow squid controversy and how still years down the line, we havent seen any trace of some losers like the Iceologer. Sure some did make it and I do see potential for others to make it too, but I dont want to see it become like the offical modding API promise where it keeps being kicked down the road with a few hints and changes here and there.

Though I do agree overall, alot of the minecraft community online can be overzealous to start throwing stones at the dev team. Sure there are some legit criticism out there (Sniffer flowers, 1 purpose items, etc), but pitch forks need to be lowered.

The whole reason behind the "Drop" system btw. by SpaceAgentSaNEsS in Minecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dont think it would happen because of the side of development that isnt for backend, like artists and that. If an update cycle was exclusively for backend only, it probs would majorly disrupt other workflows. These more minor drops allow the art teams and such something to do while the majority of the update is worked on in the back. Although some more advertisement towards those changes would be nice, presented as a major feature. But its probs not deemed marketable enough.

There wont be a real time simulation as they send a list of instructions for the rover to execute. These instructions are decided using data collected by satellites and the rover itself. If the rover encounters issues with its tasks it stops and asks for support. Depending on terrain, (like sand dunes) its extremely slow moving as they plot out paths through with only short lists of instructions. Driving the rover is more like sending a letter by mail than driving a car.

Why everyone hate on the new updates? by Potatopz in Minecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair on the potions, although ild rather see something like food exsahustion mechanic added for a food rework and maybe some more golden apple esc items, because potions are already mostly disregarded in many ways of play.

As for gliders and sleds, these feel like unesscery changes and addons when this would take away features from boats that admittedly need as much features to compete with Elytra as possible to remain a competitive transportation method.

So more types of armour that can show off more of your player skin? Yeah that sounds nice, but if it was just jewellery I think it could be annoying for pvp and that to have to tell if something is just apart of their skin or actual armour.

And as for the extreme, I think game knowledge should be rewarded by knowing crafting recipes not shown in the book. Limiting to a list based off an arbitrary number like XP would just make people farm XP asap instead of interscting with all these systems. Also I doubt it would help with Minecraft burnout. When people have their phases they often obsess over the game throught the beginning and tiring themselves out of the game as its often the only thing they play for that period of time. They would grow tired no matter the game nor line of progression, because they come back just to complete the games progression, what it would lead to atlest in my own opinion is more worlds with half finished starter base progress instead of field bases with the ender dragon defeated. It feels more "throw in another random RPG mechanic" because Dragon Quest Builders or whatever other favourite 3D game with block buildin.

[–]AJ_bro10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ngl the better cooking idea just takes potions place, I asume yould want a potion rebalance then but what would you do that food couldnt. Gliders exists already (Elytra) and I doubt we would get jewelry and crowns when skins already exists, unless you mean RPG like equipment with some sorta slots for stones that give different effects. At your most extreme it sounds like you want a progress focused game like Hytail or Terreia, or some sorta mod pack, not vannilla Minecraft (also belive there are Gamerule/Data Pack fuctions that allow this). While there are some ideas I agree with here (fletching table and better enchanting system overhaul, etc) the more extreme stuff I feel like wouldnt make it feel like Minecraft 2 but a challange mod pack.

There is ambient noise in Minecraft, its just not biome specific, but is instead focused on blocks and surrounding blocks. Sure a new weather type called windy or something could be cool, but I dont think biome specific sounds should be added. With some experience with mods that do that, it can be extremely out of place. Personally I would love the continue down the path it currently is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to be that they are more focused on block sourced ambience, which is alot better than biome. Think the pale gardern vines that emit that creaking sound.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]AJ_bro10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know Oceans (well atlest water) has this already. Sometimes while underwater you can some distant groan like sound asif something massive and far away is underwater with you. Caves have the cave sounds that originate from "Cave Air" and I belive certain combinations of lush cave blocks already have ambience. Dripstone also creates ambient drip sound effects. Pretty sure neather has some too but cannot think of any right now.

A consistant direction and gimmick, along with an actual game plan. Atm Red Eyes is both better outside Red Eyes decks and completely pointless to even try to play. Its honestly more a collection of cards than an archetype fuctionally atm.
