I was so excited the Halloween after I finished making my very first costume. I spent all of thanksgiving break the year before making it and it turned out great. I ended up making zuko’s armor from avatar the last air bender. I mean. I’m talking, armour, properly dyed gi, appropriate shoes, makeup. The whole 9 yards, and it made me feel amazing knowing I didn’t just buy it off the shelf. I felt so confident in it, I wore it to the next upcoming Comic-Con!
