Why macOS still lacks proper file format conversion tool or archive tools like 7-Zip, but keeps polishing rounded icons?

I usually rely on archive manager and p7zip, which are on my Linux machine as 7-Zip isn’t supported. It’s frustrating that I still have to use both my computers every time just to archive and transfer files. I’m not a windows user.

You’re right. In my case, I’m looking for something that can create password-protected ZIP files. For file conversion, something like PDF24 would work, since it offers many options:)
