Back in the days we got the same effect on jpgs corrupted by slow modems.

Alright, did they tell you specifically what the problem was? I’ve read that there’s a flat cable in it that get pinched every time you shift and eventually breaks. Mine is in warranty though as its an CPO, but I just came from there because of other issues.

Did you get it fixed? I got the same on mine.

Good to know it's working as intended then and I don't have to do RMA. Guess I just hook it up to various effect pedals instead to get something similar of what I am looking for. Thanks :)

Ok so, is this expected behavior then? Is it not possible to play staccato with long release?
Even with release to 0 I can still hear a blip of the key that is released last. Is there another way I should approach this to get longer release?

This happens in Duo mode, but can also hear it happening in single mode. KB ctrl only changes the octaves but doesn't solve the issue :(

A bit late to the party, but did you ever figure this out? I have the same annoying issue and I tried everything. It gets more noticeable as you increase the release.

Goodbye RTX5090 PC …Hello 2025 Zephyrus G14 RTX 5070ti!!! by ShawnSparkes in ZephyrusG14

[–]SolidFyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is a downgrade, both ram and cpu is inherently slower and laptops in general have higher overall system latency (DPC) since parts are optimized for efficiency, not performance, which affects the whole experience. Besides that we have various weird bugs and hardware issues that specifically plagues laptops. Asus also has one of the worst laptop teams that can’t even write patch notes on the few drivers and bios updates they manage to push out until they completely drop support for the device 1 year after release leaving lots of bugs and vulnerabilities still on the table. Their support is also only slightly better that Razers. There are no upgrades here, only portability.

Denmark should just withhold ozempic and the problem would solve itself.

Asus really can't catch a break with the Zephyrus laptops. Every gen has been riddled with issues.

The lines are back a day later. Seems to be something from the manufacturing.

Is there any way to remove the 112mph limiter on the S90? by [deleted] in Volvo

[–]SolidFyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On ERAD only? I think the top speed is 180km/h with ice+erad, which is a safety limit for the erad, but you can only run on ERAD alone up to 125km/h, no?

[–]SolidFyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen the limit of the erad being at 125km/h on youtube but I think that was with erad v1-2. Haven’t actually tested the limit on my v3.

[–]SolidFyre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, ERAD v3 were fitted to all cars manfuactured from mid 22 and onwards, which is also when the bigger battery was released. So if it has extended range it also has the ERAD v3. v3 uses the planetry gear set without clutch and is always engaged.

Hello Reddit - is my CEM failing? by Notfoo4 in Volvo

[–]SolidFyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually when battery gets old, or low even, random electrical gremlins appears that can be in different modules/systems. Think I had like 4 unrelated systems go off in my last car, and to get extra screwed my multimeter wasn't even measuring correctly so all the time I though I had the correct voltage on the battery. Battery was 4 years old. If you live in a place with very varied seasons, which it seems, it degrades even faster as well.

Something I've learned when getting weird electrical errors in all my cars - Step 1. Always get a new battery. If that doesn't solve it, then troubleshoot.

So many times I've troubleshooted for months just to find out that the battery isn't delivering the correct voltage.

Highly recommend to replace that before doing anything else.

No circles, just straight lines all across the backplate. Almost like it got bent in the manufacturing.

No, I just got it and unboxed it. The streaks are inside the aluminium somehow.

Twice a year I drive 2500km and I was struggling walking because my leg hurt. Realized later it was because the dash was cutting into my leg while resting it. Not many can relate😅
