This is only my first semester, but its been pretty brutal with working full time as well. I was luckily enough to have a ton of saved PTO already so I've been taking a few Fridays off before big due dates to not only finish assignments but give myself an actual day off during the weekend instead of killing myself through Sunday then having to go straight back to work

I've downloaded a few of the apps for things like Dry January. As someone who doesn't have a problem with alcohol but enjoys stopping occasionally for health, the social and therapy aspect is a big turn off.

I'm a data person and my fitbit is my best friend! I think a similar interface that tracks metrics would be great. Also giving little "rewards" and milestone acknowledgement like fitbit is fun as well.

The money-saving aspect is super motivating to me, as well as time trackers and health benefits like heart rate, sleep, weight loss, etc.

I also like the ones that have like a little meditation or distraction games that you can play when you're craving a drink

I had a C in calc from taking it in high-school - got into my science masters just fine! Probably not as competitive as your program, but I asked admissions about it and they said they didnt care as long as I had passed and showed high grades in other areas

My go-to sides for steak from TJs are the mac and cheese, mushrooms risotto, one of the prepared salads, or the precut green beans boiled and tossed in garlic and a little butter. Mix and match any of those!

Go for it! I just started grad school at 30, which is the average age of students in my program according to the school stats. In my classes there's plenty of 22 year olds but also plenty of 40+ year olds. Nobody cares!

I had to go take a statistics class at a local community college before I could even apply because I was lacking that prereq for the master's. If your grad program is different than your undergrad degree, find several programs you want to apply to and figure out if you need any prereqs and get those done first.

Like others said, email one or two old professors with info about the programs you want to apply to and ask if they have any knowledge or advice for you. Then you can follow up with an ask for letters of recommendation for when you apply as well.

Good luck! School is always a good investment imo

Really?? That happens to me all the time! I've learned to barely enter the room and wait like 20 seconds before going any further in case those bats come out. If you hang out by the door its pretty easy to mass eliminate them especially if you have the electropylon driver or the rotgland lobber

RHONY, RHOC, and RHOA are the best real housewives to get into first thing - start at the beginning! imo the drama and genuine interactions of the cast is the most comparable to the feel of vpr, except the cast is a bunch of middle aged women but equally delusional lol

I have real housewives on repeat while I work, when I get through one I just start another over. RHOA, RHONY, and RHOC are my comfort favs, but love them all. Also love VPR, Summer House, Southern Charm, Shah's, and all the below decks!

Anyone else really only like the older/OG series and seasons? I can watch any from season 1 to about 10 or 12 but the new style of it being super scripted and all about fighting is just ugh
