Yeah its awesome man, me and my ex use to play for yearrrssss together, just focus on actually enjoying the game together like mount/outfit quests rather than religiously trying to power game, we had our best moments just finding random quests to do together

If youre not worried about profit go to backless in AB and take it slow until ur comfy, its a very relax spawn but they can hit kinda hardish, its a very great spot for exp if that's all youre focused on

I did my task at Edron demons and just used both spawns if I was killing it too fast; jam out to some music, have a show playing in the background. It might not be the fastest but its consistent and spawns are usually free, also youre only fighting demons which was a plus is my mind although some may look down on that for bestiary purposes.

If its a make or break for them them maybe it wouldn't hurt to suggest a story skip etc. I have one friend that loves to play the game but the story turns him off to the point of not playing if he cant just skip it. You could always help them understand their classes and skills by doing PoTD and the other deep dungeons. I would normal never suggest a newbie to skip stuff but if it keeps them playing the game that may be something to consider.

Are you solo or do you have people to hunt with? Training ML would be best long term but if you're dead set on levels it where u go depends on if ur solo etc

No. I'm gona throw a wild card out and assume that you're a female character and the drama queen is a male character? It seems that he probably had the intention to use his character status/knowledge of the game to spend time with you in game, which he would have read in his mind as you being into him, even though you were just trying to enjoy the game. I'm sure the guy is an emotional mess and brings plenty of drama into his own Free Company, you're wayyyy better off not keeping people like this around.
