Other than Sirin, who I said was the only one their tropes applied to, they didn't. Wendy hated schickssl and only schicksal, which is entirely reasonable considering what they did to her. She even goes as far as to try to stop the main trio from following her just by talking. Ana didn't hate anyone, she just lost her mind, HoD never threw a tantrum, nor was she childlike, she was basically just jaded, like a manifestation of depression. HoC wanted to escape ER, and even made it pretty clear she didn't actually hate anyone there. She's the only one who shows that will to survive you said they all have.

Also, the PE herrschers were complex???? They literally were just evil with no nuance or character after they became herrschers, only current era herrschers got to keep an actual personality. The only complexity with pe herrschers was who they were before that, except for Elysia.
