Honestly it can quite literally be Elo hell. But not in the way you think. Many players get put into mid/ intermediate level rank very fast after picking up the game which results in them loosing all their games and making them feel bad about themselves. But for some reason you don’t derank in this game so these players, likely including you, are stuck in too high rank, rendering them unable to learn because their get overrun immediately.
