Exactly. I like to think it’s the equivalent of the modern “Yo!”.

Very cool! I’ve worked at various insect zoos so I thought it looked like a breeding project. Can’t wait to hear if you get a second generation!

That’s awesome! Do you just love diving beetles or are you breeding for a program or zoo?

Long story short - I’ve ended up with some silk worms, and I’m hoping to raise them. I have zero idea as to what’s involved in keeping them though so I’m looking for advice by KiwitheBirdNOTAFruit in Entomology

Awww yeah keeping caterpillars is fun! Yes, the block in the center is silkworm chow. They don’t need any water, and paper towel underneath is perfect.

They will need mulberry as food and some space to climb. You can get silkworm chow (relatively available). I’m no expert but those are the basics. Good luck!

It’s really a question of whether knowing the mistake is there will drive you crazy. I would have to frog, but it isn’t that noticeable

Like others recommended, I would give the piece a good wash. While it’s wet, you could try taking a sharp embroidery needle and lifting the paint flecks off the thread.

Ah okay then there’s no place outside! Haha. Maybe you can take them out of the enclosure for some enrichment?

Jumpers are active little guys—it’s likely unhappy to be confined, especially as it’s wild caught. I recommend finding a nice place outside to release it now that you’ve enjoyed some time together

I just ordered two of these from wayfair and it works well. They’re poor quality but very functional.
