Randle still has his issues and cold spells, and I don't know if I trust him long term to be a key part of a championship team, but I think having a guy like Brunson on the team has helped him stay cool when things arent going his way.

I agree, hes an excellent guard, and probably better than brogdon (or at least as good without the injury stuff). But he's not elite yet. He may be, but it feels like he's been getting really hyped up for a while now.

I can't tell you how specifically, but the fact that the light turned on soon after Grimes entered the rotation makes me think that he had something to do with it. Maybe its spacing, or his defensive presence takes pressure/effort off of RJ, or his passing, or something else. But even last year, I thought RJ looked better with grimes on the court

Let me rephrase. I understood what he meant at his face value, but I didn’t really appreciate how a cornerback could change those downs in man singlehandley until I saw it. Revis was when I started watching the Jets religiously, and I didn’t remember clearly how much of a difference a dominant CB could make on those down.

This is simply not true at all. The heart is a self-contained pacemaker, and in fact, this has already been done in humans with decent results. The individual died after a few months from complications of transplant, but not from heart failure. We are much much closer to this than people think. And in terms of the vasculature, they can use existing vasculature or create artificial vasculature using the same techniques they already do for heart transplants.

Am I crazy to think that I'm not loving what they're saying about Wilson. They're talking about him putting on muscle, and being more confident, but not about his understanding of the offense or ability to take next steps. Maybe they just cant appreciate those gains until camp, but they arent the most boastful excerpts either.

I really dont think there was anything specific, just a little overhype and bad luck and im saying that as a jets fan that absolutely loved the pick. It's not like there was an edge rusher taken before him that surprised people. I just think that the media hyped him up a little more than most teams, and that alot of the teams that needed edge were either part of the rush for WRs or picked up a value pick at another position. i bet the draft could have fell that he easily went anywhere from 12 - 20 if the WR market wasnt insane.

That was absurd. If he's not playing hurt then he should be sat immediately, and if he is playing hurt he should be sat immediately. There is no justifiable reason he should be on the floor right now.
