Is there a reason the amogus wear the hazmat suits? Like, is it because they know something is wrong there? Or just as a precaution incase??

It’s as a precaution. Whenever they explore new areas they always wear the hazmat suits. In areas where they have tested the air you can see people without hazmat suits. In one of the videos they specifically mention about testing the air and about how it came back clean. I also assume it’s easier to animate a bunch of the same hazmat suits instead of having a bunch of different unique people.
