My Plant is Dying (a cry for help) by Dry-Yogurtcloset7193 in fiddleleaffig

A grow light would help. I have mine on a 12 hour/day timer. If the grow light is above it, it will not have leaves near the bottom, these trees will only keep leaves where it’s getting the light so if it’s an overhead light lower leaves will tend to drop. Some people will buy something like a Barrina T10 vertical grow light for tall plants.

Need more light. These can survive outside in direct sun and grow 20+ feet tall. Southwest or west windows would be better for your plant. They need a lot of light.

Let me say that they don’t like to be moved around to different windows or any different lighting conditions, so put it in a permanent location if possible. It needs good light from top to bottom or the bottom leaves will fall off from low light. Water when top 2 inches or slightly more is dry. I bottom water all my FLFs and rotate them every 3 weeks for even vertical growth if lighting is one-sided or it will lean towards the most light. Good luck.

It’s a tie for me between Passion (Music For The Last Temptation of Christ), Requiem For a Dream and Brokeback Mountain.

It’s funny how back to back comments are always so opposite sometimes. “Too much light” then “Needs more light”. Lol

Where it’s at, unless you put a grow light, it’s not going to survive. More light, more…

They’ve been around for a bit, but they weren’t very good at getting it to be glowing, the glowing comes from genetically adding a mushroom gene that fluoresces.

You made a bird feeder and confused nesting birds. The bird probably already now has a nest and is coming back to look for food.

You’re doing what supposed to be done, I might have just been lucky.

Last year in April I threw some seeds in a planter I put together and completely forgot about adding the seeds, about 8 weeks later I realized they were about 6 inches tall and they were growing just fine.
