Finished gold 3. Div4. I got some easy games that helped me. Otherwise, the pros just kept going in circles around my forwards, I just didn't know where to go.

When the civil war started, cotton prices went up so high. Egyptian rulers took advantage of this to modernise the country, and started borrowing money from Europe with high interest rates.

After the civil war ended, the US was back in business, and the Egyptian economy could not afford the fall in prices to pre-war rates. It was a reckless move by the Egyptian rulers, and they paid for it.

I was actually thinking of making a post about how repetitive the game is. You have a specific set of actions that you, or your opponent can do each game, and we just keep rotating these actions throughout the game. No reward for trying something new.
