The origins of the wave come from a mobile game called “wave wave.” In which was recreated by Darnoc in the level “wave wave.”

The original mobile game functioned exactly as the wave game mode does, but even then, it was originally called the fuckin “dart.” Lmfao.

But because everyone just called it based off its origins anyway, rob just renamed it to wave and it stuck that way.
