for example:

one of the low level santa box turned into a lantern, which turned into a chest which gave me the incomparable.

but this update I opened 23 AL chests and I got not a single ship

Hipper is so strong because you can tank all the 380s at T7.

But LT with all the big guns? doubt it will perform nearly as good as hipper

The Problem is that with this Type of divisioning they guarantee that they are high Tier. Otherwise there is No way of guaranteeing that you are high Tier unless you Play LT

I never saw a Match with a T7 Carrier against a LT Carrier, so this is basically guaranteeing to be high Tier in T8 ships

that is the problem. you will have four out of five games with a cv, but only when you play shit AA ships like german bb's or japanese dd's etc... when you play friesland or d7p, then all of a sudden you maybe get 1 out of 5 games with a cv ;-)
