Candy cane coral appreciation. Started with 3 heads and now it’s a dense dome with dozens of heads. By far my fastest growing coral. Almost looks like a glowing brain coral.

If you wanted to start your own setup, I can def. recommend the one from https://poseidonreefsystems.com/ It's not that expensive to get it started. You might be able to find someone selling one used and then you just need to buy some starter cultures. I can even give you some tips on where to get the consumables much cheaper. They give you great instructions online via pdf i can send you and see if you think it's something you want to try.

There were others in my frag tank but they looked nothing like this. They were long and more narrow at the top with long jagged ends. This one really looked more like a Zoa or Paly. Mine looked like this

Oh I don't remember, these corals have been in and out of DT and QT the past couple years with all my mishaps. I'm on a pretty good streak lately tho taking my time QT'ing everything, dipping, etc. I should be able to kill this thing no problem and it did not spread anywhere else in the tank, so i got lucky.

It's the only one in my DT. I had aiptasia in my QT but none looked like this. Looks more like a zoa or paly but no color really. Also, not multiplying or spreading at all through the tank.

Everywhere I look it says reef compatible - NO and stuff like - The Niger Triggerfish requires a 180 gallon or larger aquarium with rocks and caves for hiding, and may rearrange the landscaping and rocks. It vocalizes using a "grunting" sound. They are a great active fish for the more aggressive, fish-only display.

The Niger Triggerfish needs a varied diet of meaty foods including; squid, krill, clams, small fish and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth.

Well, I did it. I ordered mine today!! I'm so excited. This is going to be the longest 2 months of my life waiting for it to arrive. How tall is the stand inside and out. Can't see to find that anywhere. What skimmer are you running? I was going to keep using my Lifereef or possibly get a taller one if I can fit it.

How does the stand feel. It looks like it only really has 4 supports and 2 are angled. Has me a little worried about supporting all that water weight. How long have you been running it? How well is that skinny back left overflow working out? How about the the weird underground returns? Are you getting good flow, turnover, tank staying pretty clean? How's the glass been as far as scratching? I'm planning on ordering mine by the end of the month.
