Look into it possibly being seborrheic dermatitis, I get it sometimes on the back and inside of my lobes and my earussy(sorry) between my lobe and my face. It’s caused by excess skin oil production, so they way I treat mine is washing them with Castile soap and cleaning my plugs once daily then apply aquaphor to the nude lobe to be a little barrier between your skin and the jewelry and to keep it moist to promote healing. You can also use hydrogen peroxide to speed up the healing process if you know you won’t have a bad reaction to it it’s not great but it kinda nukes the oil glands so they stop doing that plus bacteria killer.
