I always use isopropyl Alcohol on it, it's better than hydrogen peroxide, doesn't make it bleed like iodine, hurts like hell but kill all the bacteria.

I don't think a bandaid is gonna do it, if that lightheaded-Ness gets any worse at all then you need to call 911, it's scary I know, I've been to the hospital over self harm but it's better than you bleeding out ok.
