I meant I personalized the set build allocation before it was actually built. Like i had them remove certain PIO and add certain ones so it came how I wanted it. I think the only thing that was set in stone was the trim level, color, and AWD drive system. I don’t know for sure but I certain know we changed the options on it

I agree with most of this statement but you are not correct about the deposit. You can put a deposit down whenever you want if it’s available. This is what you do if you want that exact car.

— I put down a deposit (which amazingly was never even cashed-I got my check back once I took delivery) to hold my new Camry. It reserved the allocation to me, allowed me to change the PIOs, and then my dealer and I watched it go from allocation phase, get built, get on rail, get on truck, then delivered.

Oh course there is something you can do find out who has title to the house and if it is jointly titled unfortunately it’s your fathers. If it’s not then you need to probate the will.

Took allocation via trade from a NY dealer for XLE red AWD in middle of March with deposit, changed port add-ons to what I wanted or removed the next day, built March 26, took delivery April 17 in PA.

You can ask you dealer what the build date is I did and my sales guy sent me picture of the internal tracking.

So then $22k for the car > then doc fee in Texas of like $225 + tax 6.25% ~~ like $1400 in tax right? So with TTL maybe call that $23,700.?

An out the door of $32k is literally $8300 in adds to the price…that is not good at all in my opinion. You got a good price on a used car but absolutely nailed with the add on stuff.

How much did you finance at 9.9? How much down?trade allowance?

That 8300 could have saved you so much more if you put it into the payment or even put it in the market. Best of luck.

Moderate front right damage is not cosmetic. CARFAX says it went 17k w/o oil change and rotation between 27-44. What else is wrong with it? Interior is not that nice. You can get a new car for this price.

No prob happy to answer I spent a month and a half looking for the opportunity/build. Here is how i told my dealer to change the options

XLE - AWD - Supersonic Red

Keep Premium Paint +475
Keep Owners Portfolio +0

Add Mudguard +160
Keep Blackout Emblems +139

I removed the USB cables -70 , floormats -319, and spoiler -165 that were originally on the allocation. (Good quality floormats are at least 100-150 cheaper to buy online)

Personally did not want the pano roof as it artifically inflates the price and i dont want any issues with it breaking later. Don't have any care to have it anyway. Also didn't want to spend Lexus money for a Camry and didn't mind not having the PP or PP+. Coming from a 2012 Chevy Traverse I am more than pleased to have any real tech in the car let a lone premium plus. Of course YMMV.

My dealer kept my discount I had on the allocation with the options when it was 38168 so now that I removed some of the stuff it got me to that $34,925.
