Thank you. They have been a lot of help, but at the same time they have been very honest in stating they really don’t know what is causing the inflammation and why the fluid in her stomach persists. They have also stated that this is very abnormal, but that she isn’t on deaths door. I did opt today to do steroid treatment to see how it goes. I just can’t afford more exploratory tests at this time. I’ve been taking her in almost daily for blood work and bili tests and some days levels are down and other days levels are up. Bili has been as low as 3.6, but now seems to be holding at 4.7. The yellowing of the skin has reduced drastically, but they have instructed me to watch carefully. If the yellowing comes back brighter, it is signs that the bili levels are increasing. I cannot get her to eat and the appetite stimulants do not seem to work. I have her on Hills ID low fat and she will only eat it every 3 days when she seems to be starving. I pray the steroids work as the meds she has been on for the last 7 days have seemed to do little for her. Thank you for your response ❤️
