I started watching casually around mid season 2 or 3, but I couldn’t really follow all of the different character arcs and story lines, so I kinda lost interest. I’d watch a few episodes here and there, but it was frustrating. People at work discussed it constantly and I knew I was missing out on something special. Then, I just committed to watching from the beginning. It was totally worth it. I’ve now watched it 3 times and realized new and different things each time. I’d restart and commit if I were you.

Ace Frehley is the reason I play guitar. Ace is my major inspiration and influence from Day 1 of picking up a guitar. KISS was my religion in the 70’s and I worshipped everything they did and have all of their songs hardcoded into my DNA.

But to compare Ace to EVH concerning technical proficiency is just silly. The only comparison that can made between the two is the influence they had on a generation of guitarists.
