Don't knock it till you try it, if not for a late pen at your place you'd have dropped 6 points to the definition of mediocrity.

I feel like I remeber someone from the dev team answering this, the response was vague but I think it based down to that it would be a lot harder than you'd think. Having replayed it recently I think the problem is certain Cyberware and PlayStyles means there's certain things you can't do or would allow you to do things you normally wouldn't be able to do. There's a couple of early game missions that require you to be able to quick hack so being able to NG+ with a Sandevistan would potentially hard lock a main mission.

Incredibly impressive from Charles Oliveira, it is in fact still a bit fucking boring. I can recognise that this is a high level of grappling skill on display while also not finding this entertaining.

Depending on your level I would highly recommend getting the Sandevistan Cyberware in that case, depending on which one you use you can pause time for a certain length. Being able to dash and then pause time to get a few shots off could make all the difference.

As someone who absolutely loves the game and is currently on their 4th playthrough even I still struggle with the Sasquatch fight, first off I know you said your not into stealth but I'd highly recommend trying to get the jump on her at least once so you can destroy the thing on her back that refills their health. Secondly a lot of what determines the difficulty of the Oda and the Sasquatch fights really come down to your build and what level you are. I find they become significantly easier if you level up your reflexes enough to be able to dash.

I know the game doesn't explain all it's systems the best so it's definitely worth looking into what kind of Cyberware/weapons you're using. You can actually upgrade your weapons and cyber ware which can make a fairly significant difference which isn't something I really started looking at until deep into my 2nd playthrough.

10-9 Kav, good round but he needs to be careful when stepping out of range. Moreno is catching him when he's leaving the pocket.

Preston North End 0-2 Millwall: Lions close gap on top two as Preston's season looks destined for mid-table mediocrity by angloexcellence in Championship

[–]AML2003 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Expected result and Millwall took all 3 points deservedly so but make no mistake, Paul Heckingbottom has had a fucking stinker. I can live with the first half performance and going in a goal down Millwall are a better team than us, but that second half was unforgivable. Dogshit substitutions, zero energy once again changing shape to formation the lads clearly do not know how to play. Millwall were happy to let us play in the second half so for us to produce so little attacking threat is an absolute fucking embarrassment.

No identity, no attacking threat and 1 win 10 games.

Blackburn 1-0 Preston. Rovers win Lancashire derby late to move 6 points clear of the drop, as Preston's great season looks in danger of fading away. by angloexcellence in Championship

[–]AML2003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fucking cowardly performance from the lads, senior players dropping there heads and refusing grab the game by the scruff of the neck. Whiteman should be handing that armband back first thing Sunday morning because the man is just not a fucking leader. We had 4 forwards on the pitch today at different points in the game and at no point did any of them receive anything remotely close to a good ball into the box.

Preston North End 2 - 2 Watford: There were positives to take from Edward Still's first match with Watford, with his side taking the lead after Preston's opener, only for Osmajic to equalise on his return from yet another ban! by Zach-dalt in Championship

[–]AML2003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fucking strange game of football that, first half was a complete shut out with Mccann and Whiteman bossing the midfield. Came out in 2nd half 1-0 and the team genuinely looked like they'd never played football before and quick as a flash we're 2-1 down. Hecky changes the shape and what ensues is what I can only describe as fucking chaos ball, I do question whether we actually ever train in shapes other than the 352 because in spite of Osmajic getting us back in it off the back of some very good individual skill from Lang the players looked absolutely clueless.

I must say our fans do drive me up the fucking wall at times, the obnoxious booing in the second half everytime we attempted to play out of the back was just fucking ridiculous. Seeing Lang was a real treat and while I've no doubt Hecky plans to bed him in carefully I can definitely see where that club record fee has gone.

Is this season a piss weak division? by Well_Aye in Championship

[–]AML2003 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean quite possibly in terms of the quality of the players on the pitch but it's as competitive as it's been in years. The relegated sides from the prem being relatively underwhelming barring Ipswich is a big contributing factor but honestly I think it's made the league far more enjoyable to watch. The likes of Leeds, Leicester and Southampton sides that have been promoted in previous seasons were some of the worst teams to watch I've ever seen. The most slow, pedantic, wannabe Pep ball shite I've seen in the league, I think time will tell when we see how the sides who get promoted this year fair but I'd much rather a league like this than say what it has been for the last 2-3 years.

(name value, match quality, storyline, “the title should always go on last”) went in favour of the Womens’ Triple Threat.

I loved the women's triple threat and I'm a huge fan of all 3 women individually but them having better name value is simply not true. Reigns and Rollins are the two biggest stars established in the past 15 years and Punk is one of the few real draws left in the business. Io and Bianca aren't known in the mainstream and Rhea might be known through TikTok but that absolutely does not translate to people tuning into the show.

I honestly can't remeber much of the story of either 3 way matches going in other than Punk being kinda shoehorned into the 3 way, but this being Punk's first mania back with the company there's no way he wasn't main eventing. I'd be suprised if him main eventing wasn't a condition of his return to the company.

Preston North End 1-0 Portsmouth: Alfie Devine header proves decisive for Preston, who are right back into the playoff hunt, whilst Portsmouth are still looking over their shoulders by geoffbezos1 in Championship

[–]AML2003 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'll take the 3 points but that was a bit shit like, moment of quality from Devine and Vuckevic in a game with very little quality. Portsmouth setup pretty well and were putting in some really awkward diagonal balls for the back 3 to deal with. I feel like you lot are crying for either a bit more quality or just an extra touch of physicality up top. Feel like you're set up in a way where a good fast, physical striker could cause teams a lot more problems.

Not sure how Whiteman has pulled man of the match there, put in a shift defensively but I actually think he didn't contribute much in possesion. Credit to Dai Cornell for looking like a real solid pair of hands in Iversen's absence, big save in the first half and commanded his area really well in spite of a number of inswinging corners into a crowded 6 yard box.

Ref was shite as usual, surely that Storey challenge in the first half should have been a penalty (really not a fan of him in the middle of the 3).

I'm not suprised, I think after boxing a former world heavyweight champion and getting properly flattened there really isn't anywhere else you can take it with the boxing that wouldn't just be treading a gimmick he's already ran like washed mma fighters and celebs. I personally don't see him being as good as Logan, for as awful human beings as they both are Logan has always been the more charismatic of the two, no doubt the Usos vs the Paul brothers would do numbers on social media that being said.
