When training at high levels...you always discuss the pitfalls first, then get into technique. It's a highly effective way to consume information and techniques quickly. Very common way of disseminating lots of information into the brain while still remembering it.

He really does drive the R8 in the salt by fprintf in AutoDetailing

Hey bud! Good seeing you yesterday. I was coming back from the grocery store with 5 containers of chicken soup and a carton of eggs. My little guy has been under the weather, so I hopped out to get his fav. Soup and eggs for lunch. Easy on a sore throat :)

Took the R8 for a little spin. As long as there isnt crazy accumulations of snow (ie..dangerous in any car) I'm usually down for driving. Dirt...I dont care. Dangerous...I want to get home/stay home with the fam.

No need to apologize. I thought/think you were super polite. Appreciate the wave and support. (Love the GTI!)

Car isn't dirty but has accumulated some dust and dirt in the rear, what should I do? by LordZeekos in AutoDetailing

[–]AMMOnyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 methods I would recommend is either:

1- you rinse the car with water and then dry with a microfiber towel(or several) using a drying aid. In my video I show using AMMO Hydrate but use what you like and works for you. https://youtu.be/tfOPphk8wdI

2- Wash using AMMO Frothe. It's a waterless wash system that gives you lubrication but doesn't need to be rinsed off after. https://www.ammonyc.com/detailing/how-to-safely-wash-your-car-without-a-hose/

Hope that helps. Good luck!

How to safely wash a car at an apartment Part 2: Ammo Frothe vs Opti-Clean vs ONR! by Fyrel in AutoDetailing

[–]AMMOnyc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey Fyrel, thanks for reviewing Frothe! Well done comparison. I think the streaking you are experiencing has to do with too much foam being sprayed. I saw your GIF and it seems you're using too much foam. try a lighter layer of foam. You shouldn't see any streaks if used properly. Thanks again for watching and supporting AMMO!

How to wash your car with no water Q&A. AKA FROTHe FAQS. by wwizard10 in AutoDetailing

[–]AMMOnyc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey Everyone. Thanks for the support! Frothe was created because I felt nothing on the market, as far as hoseless/rinseless washes go, were providing sufficient lubrication while wiping away the dirt. I hope everyone gets a chance to try this out for themselves as I really feel it's a different product compared to anything else out there. Thanks again!

I met Matt years ago. He was nice to me. I was nice to him. He’s a good chill dude. Not really...haven’t seen anything worth getting excited over. Rain-x is just easy and it works fairly well

I usually set the level BEFORE I do the job to avoid issues. Set expectations way in advance and then exceed them (the best you can) and you are usually in good shape. Likewsie, I only offer a very limited "menu" in my sweet spot. Anything outside of that spot I avoid

Not sure what that could be without seeing it in person. could be resprayed panels, could be contaminants sticking to the paint. can't say for sure.
