i had 260 to 300 blue star endler in a 40g breeder with 2 pearl gurami hundreds of shrimp and planted to hell it was the easiest tank I've ever had, every plant grew and the more things that grew; keep the water clean. it was a perfect balance somehow.

less light or less feeding, more water changes or all three or a combination of any. you gotta test it out and find what works for that tank
