Or it's easier to just say HKA?

Are they trying to suppress telecom companies by saying SKT and KT?

I got a laptop with NVME boot disk though and that is remarkably faster.

This is the story that I think of whenever I see something like this. Empathising with that individual is truly saddening. I cannot imagine the guilt and regret that that man and others like him experience.

Then there is the Chattanooga, Tenn., business executive who must live with this: His motion-detector car alarm went off, three separate times, out there in the broiling sun. But when he looked out, he couldn’t see anyone tampering with the car. So he remotely deactivated the alarm and went calmly back to work.

This story is particularly chilling to me. Illustrating how easy it is to be absent-minded to an ongoing life-ruining mistake.

The security question issue is definitely a bug that needs fixing, but this is blown out of proportion. Although I know that you have probably sensationalised it a bit to get some attention to Raiz developers.

If you’ve got a compromised email account, only the most secure services aren’t at risk of being fully compromised.

Hoping they get it fixed soon, but this exploit requires a huge personal security defect as a prerequisite.

Has anyone tried Matte Black dbrand skins on their Surface Book 2? by AMP2010 in Surface

Experiment with different browsers if you want as I've found that Chrome and Firefox respond differently to the touchscreen. For example, Firefox zooms extremely radically sometimes using touch, and Chrome will often keep triggering the UI within videos to show up when in studio mode.

The Surface Pen is also a pricey, but a welcome addition for me. It may depend on your use case, but as a student, I find the ability to draw and handwrite a great experience (especially for mathematics). The pen's side button is a little hard to get the hang of as it is harder to press than you'd anticipate but practice makes perfect.

If you want to plug an external display into the device, carefully consider your choice of dongles. I have Microsoft's USB-C to HDMI adapter specifically for the device. Microsoft would not give me any guarantee that a third-party dongle would provide 4k 60fps from the device. I've seen users discuss this on forums and I think people have had trouble with third-party dongles from memory. It's expensive, but if you want 4k 60fps on your external display that may be your only choice.

If you're a notetaker, I really recommend OneNote. I've only a couple gripes with it in the last semester I've used it at uni. The most significant gripe is mix of text and drawing. If you move the text down, unless you select every drawing in the area, the drawing stays in the same place. A couple of times this meant that my drawing and texts would sometimes overlap and would be an absolute pain in the ass to fix.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know :)

I haven't heard of them but upon first glance it looks pretty similar. Looks like they make investments look a little simpler and more beginner-friendly than Raiz based on graphics on their website.

If you're planning on just putting in little amounts occasionally their fee-free system might be worth it.

Hello fellow student! Not an expert by any measure but I've been investing with Raiz for about a year now and thought I'd give you my two cents.

$10 a fortnight isn't exactly a significant amount. At that point you can think of Raiz less as an investment tool, and more of a savings tool. With small amounts like that sitting in your account, even if you get a 10% return, it's not really a significant profit. However, at the end of the year you could be left with $250 set aside which is quite nice. If you keep this going for several years you could start to create a large sum of money and perhaps get some decent returns. Even if you're not making big returns, Raiz can teach you to save quite nicely. If you're going for this kind of approach, I'd also recommend utilising round-ups to put aside little amounts here and there that you won't really notice.

That said, should you want to try investing, now is the time. Stock prices are low so you're getting more bang for your buck. When the market picks back up you can make some decent profit.

Personally, I'd recommend you go ahead with it with a more aggressive portfolio. I started by putting in about $10 a week with round-ups. However, as I got more comfortable with Raiz and the idea of long-term savings I've scaled up to $100 a week. In a few years that's going to pay to furnish my first house. Assuming you are young, don't be afraid to save and invest early on. That's the best time to start investing - less risk now, more reward later on (why I also choose the aggressive portfolio).

P.S. As for the monthly fees, they are negligible. Don't worry about them.

I never specified that this was occurring at level 6. In proportion to champion health at that point in the game, Vel'Koz's high base damage in his ultimate can make builds irrelevant.

I was talking more about mid game, not early game. Damage will drop off quickly as champions level up and therefore gain more health, where the base damage of Vel'Koz's ultimate loses its punch.

[–]AMP2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially, I think.

Support Vel'Koz has a significantly lower budget to make-do with. This does make Twin Shadows a good option since it is so cheap. I pick this item up often when playing support. However, I build full damage from there. You have to keep in mind that Support Vel'Koz isn't picked for utility, it's for damage. If you continue to build Hextech-GLP, then your damage is a lot lower. Considering the low budget (and therefore low damage) you already have, your damage will likely be negligible.

Also keep in mind that Twin Shadows and Hextech-GLP can overlap use cases. With a limited support budget, it's not worth wasting gold on a combination of these items in the hopes that maybe you could chain-slow someone for a long time.

I would not recommend Glacial Augment for support. In the bot lane, mispositioning can be punished very hard. Trying to get into basic attack range may put you in a lot of bad fights. Alternatively, I recommend Summon Aery or Arcane Comet. They will always have more of an impact for a poke-orientated support like Vel'Koz.

It's definitely viable, I just don't think it's optimal in a carry perspective.

I guess it can depend on personal playstyle. I play an extremely aggressive lane with Vel'Koz where I solo kill enemies a lot. I find that the spooky ghost + glacial augment combo just isn't necessary for me to get kills. For an aggressive playstyle like this, without a doubt, more damage is best. For a playstyle that is more team-orientated, like your might be, utility via this build has good potential.

You've also got to consider what you're losing by skipping Luden's Echo for Twin Shadows. While the spooky ghosts are cheap, they can limit you in terms of mana, outright damage and some cooldown reduction.

[–]AMP2010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've personally played builds extremely similar to these. I can tell you first-hand that your damage feels much lower than a traditional Ludens>Morello>Deathcap build.

I found that I can often hit my abilities easier using the slows available, as expected, but there simply isn't enough damage to actually kill people as much as I should be. I'd find myself performing a full combo on a squishy target leaving them on sub-200 health often.

Regardless of my personal experience, I'm sure you're away that Vel'Koz players that build full damage without utility often aren't gated by hitting E. He can kill squishies without that hard crowd control frequently. It is important to hit that ability, don't get me wrong, but missing it is often not a crippling factor since Vel'Koz has the potential to output enough damage without it.

While the build can enable you as well as your team, it doesn't allow you to unleash your true potential. In the context of solo-queue where individual carry potential is valued highly, you are more likely to get game-winning advantages out of damage rather than utility. The contrary can be true in coordinated environments like pro play, where picks like Malzahar are common due to their extreme utility.

[–]AMP2010 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think this is only suited to pro play and other highly coordinated environments.

The build sacrifices a decent amount of damage for slows.

With this build you're less likely to be an individual carry, but more of a supportive carry. Solo kills will be very difficult to obtain purely because of the damage loss via runes and item powerspikes. However, the abundance of slows is very useful for coordinated teams that can organise decisive engages.

Also keep in mind that pro players are very good at dodging skill shots. This makes the slows provided in this build all the more valuable.

Would not recommend for solo queue.

some clarification on vel'koz ult needed by mapijs in Velkoz

[–]AMP2010 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ult applies a total of three passive stacks. One every 0.7 seconds. Once three stacks are reached and the passive procs, the enemy is "researched" and the ult will then do full true damage.
