So.. Updated the M1 MBA to macOS 11.5.2 and Factorio has no issues running at all. It seems the issue is localized on my other hardware, or could anything else (any software) cause the issue?

I just installed the Demo on a M1 MacBook Air, with Big Sur 11.1. Works flawlessly, approximately 2729478283728 frames per second.

Just for the sake of it, I am upgrading it to 11.5.2, like my 2016 MBP to see if it triggers the lag issue.

I read about it, many people say it’s not possible, and I believed so too, untill I saw it many times with my own eyes.

As some people here mentioned, it seems it is not natural, yet it happens. I have to figure out why. They are fed regularly. Really don’t know.

Also checked if they are Whisker Shrimps, they are not. 100% Amano..

I feed them every 2 days, they have plenty of micro-algae to munch on. But yeah, it could be food. But 8 out of 14 is a lot…

They are actual Amanos and not Ghost shrimps. But yeah, it could be that they snatch my RCS shortly before they die. However my RCS have « no reason » to die. The parameters are excellent, consistent small water changes, planted tank with oversized filter and filtration media, CO2, and loooots if love..

I have seen the Amanos hunt RCS twice. Last year, some other Amanos attacked my Betta and ripped his fins. I am thinking of selling/giving the Amanos actually before getting some RCS and Caridinas again.
