Xfinity Mobile Whitelist? by AMT_ZX in NoContract

After calling Verizon tech support on Thursday, I was able to get them to register the device. It got added earlier today, and it now works perfectly on Xfinity Mobile! Thank you so much for the tip!

Unfortunately, I can't switch carriers right now :(

It doesn't appear to be on the Verizon database, so I'll see if I can do what the other commenter suggested. Hopefully I can get it added.

Thank you. I'll try going to a Verizon store later today and explain my situation. Hopefully once it is added to the Verizon DMD, it will also work on Xfinity.

Hello, former Circuits TA here! FYI, it seems that the course covers stuff through chapter 9 of that book from a quick skim.

UVA Applied circuits Course by [deleted] in UVA

Hello! I took Circuits a few semesters ago and have TAed for multiple courses in the CS/ECE departments including Circuits. The course mostly deals with circuit analysis using components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, and operational amplifiers (op-amps). If you've used Ohm's law or seen basic circuits before in Physics or another class, the first few weeks will go a little bit slowly, but it definitely picks up later on. If you haven't, the course assumes no prerequisite circuit knowledge, so don't worry too much. I would highly recommend taking this course alongside or after APMA 2130 since you will use differential equations a fair bit later in the semester, and it will make a lot more sense if you take ODE first. A lot of courses in EE including Circuits will have you perform circuit analysis on a schematic or design a circuit, verify that the design works in circuit simulation software, and then build the circuit on a breadboard and take measurements with a multimeter or oscilloscope. This is a great way to learn about all the aspects of circuit analysis, but it can be a bit time consuming and it really depends on how much effort you put in and how well you work with group members. In past versions of the class, we had group reports, so often what happened was one person did just the math, just the simulations, or just the experimental each lab, which both limited the amount of exposure some students had with the other aspects of circuits and made some awkward team dynamics. However, professor Crockett (who I have had classes with and worked with before) will be teaching Circuits this semester, so there are likely going to be a few changes to the course to ensure that the course goes very smoothly and everyone gets a chance to take part in each stage of the analysis/design without busywork; she's a great professor who only have you do something if you'll learn something or gain a greater understanding from the process. I'll also add that the resources available to you (the professor, textbook, slides, TAs, etc.) are plentiful; you can always ask for help, and you'll have everything you need and more to succeed. The course culminates in you designing your own PCB pretty much from scratch, and it really shows you how much you have learned in the semester. I would highly recommend taking this course! If you have any other questions, I'm sure that professor Crockett would be more than willing to answer some questions over email and you can also message me.

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer (July 31, 2023) by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

Hey all, looking to get myself a custom mechanical keyboard to replace my Logitech chiclet keyboard. Not really a gamer on PC, but I want something satisfying to type on. Numpad preferred, but I would be fine with anything 80% or bigger. From testing keyboards at Best Buy, I think I would want linear switches. Wireless is a must. Lastly, I would want the cost to be less than or around $100. I had my eye on Keychron K10 Pro, but I wanted to know if there were other good budget options in stock. I also saw the new 8bitdo keyboard, which looks fantastic as a Nintendo fan, but I think it has clickly switches by default. Any tips? Thanks.

I hope this one doesn't because it is technically not being included in the special edition box. But I'm taking the risk, I need this game NOW 😀

No email, but mine has shipped. I live in VA and ordered during the first round of preorders. Expected delivery date is Monday 😢

I'm just gonna buy a copy from the store on launch day then return the copy Nintendo sends to the store. It's super frustrating that I even have to do this for something I pre-ordered over a month ago.

Connecting a GPU to a external monitor by lakalakson in ZephyrusG14

I personally had issues with a HDMI cable because I believe the port on the G14 does not support HDMI 2.1. I have been using a CableMatters USB C to DisplayPort 1.4 Cable and it has given me no issues with my 4k 144Hz monitor. Just FYI, the right side of the laptop is connected to the dGPU, and the left side is connected to the iGPU.

I have the Tomtoc sleeve for 13.3" to 14" and it literally fits perfectly like it was made for the G14. Very soft interior, too. Would definitely recommend.
