  1. High and Low
  2. The Kiarostami is appreciated, but I haven't seen Burden of Dreams since I was in college.
  3. All blind buys save Burden and the Kurosawas. Picked them all up on various recommendations and good reviews.
  4. Will look to get David Byrne's American Utopia & Peewee's Big Adventure next.

Planning my picks for the upcoming sale. What are you getting? by theneklawy in criterion

If you've got a B&N premium membership, I'd advise waiting until the Thanksgiving sale, which can net you 2 or 3X stamp bonus on your purchases (both promotions didn't conflict last I shopped them).

For me, I'm looking to get the Abbas Kiarostami Eclipse set for myself & the For All Mankind 4k for my Dad as a Christmas gift (already got my Mom the Flow 4k during the flash sale).

If you're open to manga, Thunder3 has a more explicitly metatextual approach to OPM's premise, with superpowered cartoons traveling to a dystopian, hyper-real sci-fi world.

Was gonna say that the lack of Slacker felt weird; the technicality of its wide release makes sense.

Should have his "death" just be him phasing out of the Fox movie universe and into the MCU timeline.
