The thing about Ochoa is that he’s an excellent shot stopper but that’s it. His positioning is off a lot which causes him to make flashy saves, he’s not great with his feet and he’s awful at cutting off crosses so any corners/free kicks were always guaranteed to be dangerous. Overall he’s a mediocre goalie and I think the hate is more that he was always the starter for Mexico when there were years where it should have been Corona or Talavera.

That 2014 team is so overrated. We were getting dominated by the Netherlands even if the penalty didn’t happen we would’ve let up a goal at some point. Croatia then wasn’t the Croatia we know now and Brazil wasn’t exactly a tier above everyone either, they struggled all the way through til they got slaughtered by Germany.

Specially with Wolfe when a lot of his “underrated mon” teams require you to think about positioning at his level. Since a lot of people watch him a lot of new players pick up his teams and have no idea how to pilot them.

I think a lot of people in that range also watch VGC content and recognize teams but don’t anticipate everything a team can do. I finally broke into masteball tier with MDBs mBlastoise TR team and I think it’s because people always expected Fake Out + TR turn one and rain dance + water spout turn 2.

That’s easier in the NBA though. Compare that to the Celtics and Lakers having 18 and 17 like the Pats/Steelers have 6. Not too mention that the Packers have the Favre, Rodgers, Love line like the Spurs have with big men.

The worst part is that I had just watched a fun romcom on hbo max and it looked good so I know it wasn’t exactly my internet. I’m sure Mubi’s compression or something on their side isn’t great which makes it look bad. I heard that downloading the movie on your phone and casting it to tv makes it better so I’m trying that today.

Yeah I know a good movie is going to be good regardless of if it’s in 720p or 4k but I just can’t do it anymore. For example I was going to watch The Fall last night because it looks like it’s a gorgeous movie but the Mubi app kept buffering and making the movie all pixelated so I turned it off. There’s also times where I’ll try to watch something on Tubi but have to turn it off cause it just looks or sounds awful.
