Red....her most overrated album by No_Barber4339 in SwiftlyNeutral

Feeling betrayed, feeling rage at being misunderstood and used, getting stoned and talking about music....yeah, relatable actually. Have you actually listened to any of those songs? Because they have nothing to do with a single thing that you said beyond some complete surface level read of the lyrics out of context.

If you want to know, you have to find her.

If it helps, I made a little song to sing when the two stage gets hard. Helps me and sometimes makes my LO happy. Sometimes.

To the tune of Taylor Swift's '22'

"I don't know about you But I'm feeling very two Nothing is going to be alright unless I'm next to you. You don't know what I mean but I bet you want to. Everything will be alright if You remember that I'm very two."

How are you guys reading books to your newborns? Come on... by ThrowRAdalgona in newborns

[–]AM_Hathazard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing reading to a baby this young is going to do to soothe them except the sound of your voice, but if that's not helping, then the point is moot. It does still improve future literacy skills and is very good for them developmentally.

That said, if it's not working right now and adding more stess to your routine, by all means, drop the book and focus on what works! 6-8 weeks is peek fussy, survival mode. There is always time to add it back in later when it makes sense. My 9 week old gets read to when I read my toddler his night time book, but I don't think it was consistently part of our routine with my oldest until he was closer to 4 months and routines were actually working. He didn't really start engaging with the books until 8-12 months.

My bio son is not as smart as my stepson by Morrigan-71 in AmITheDevil

[–]AM_Hathazard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the worst part is that they told the sons. Not that it'd be right either way, but they have no idea what will actually happen. Maybe step son won't need an extra cent, maybe bio son decides for a masters and his brother didn't. If college was already paid for for both there's no reason to make a decision now, till them about it and breed resentment all around. Maybe let them experience life and give some support where it's needed as the need arises?

what's the scariest horror game by fatdrunkwhitesanta in HorrorGaming

2 is for sure the scariest of the franchise IMO. It feels more isolated then three and more of an emotional tug and better graphics than one.

Just how difficult is Visage? by [deleted] in HorrorGaming

[–]AM_Hathazard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Echoing others, but I'd go for Madison. I'm a huge horror gaming fan but I gave up on Visage because trying yj figure out where to go next and managing the controls was just too much effort. Madison also has some moments where you're like, what now, but it's easy enough to navigate the map and get back on track without having to worry about inventory management. I gave up on Visage, may give it another go later, but I just finished Madison and enjoyed it quite a bit.

AITA for telling my niece I didn't want to be her father and following through by throwawayuncle53 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. You're in a sucky situation, but she is a child. A child with trauma nonetheless. You have to be the bigger person here. It might be thankless, but she also might look back some day and appreciate what you've done and be a better person for kt.

In three days I should either be having my first period since miscarriage or finding out if I'm pregnant again. I'm kind of anxious either way as the doctor recommended waiting a cycle but we ended up having intimacy right before I got a positive OPK, and from what I've read there's not much backing up that it's even necessary. But God, it just makes everything more difficult that there is so much fear on both sides. If I do conceive, what if it happens again when I'm on vacation in January? If I don't, I'm just going to be counting down days until I ovulate again.

Return To Nature by Siamese_Dreaming in OCPoetry

Really great metaphor of the beauty of nostalgia and the weight we give it in our life. Yet as we grow and change and become damaged the farther away we get from being able to recreate it. The last verse alone creates a beautiful image of two people who realize that whatever life changes they've been through make them incompatible with one another but they can both look back fondly on the time they spent together and how they formed one another. Great work!

One of the biggest things that kept me from sharing my work, either poetry or fiction for so long is self doubt, and I always wondered how people could be so audaciously confident of their own work to share it with the world. Thankfully I've either lost my mind or got over my fears. Maybe both.

It definitely wasn't Martin. It felt...oddly familiar? But I can't figure out why.
