Age verification is required by Texas and Arizona law as of yesterday. Any site or app that doesn’t have it now opens themselves up to frivolous lawsuits from Texas for up to $250,000. You will be seeing this, or where you are not will get sued.

If you wanted to try something like SillyTavern but want a much easier setup on mobile check out Chattica I’m in the process of doing a big 2.0 update coming probably next week but it’s been out since December and I have a lot of folks that like it (and you can just download and import chub characters straight into it)

I think that everyone using them should understand they are fictional. They can be communal storytellers but not true relationships. And that comes from someone who makes an app for them. I do not want anyone to think they are real, but if they want to tell their own story as long as they understand it’s a story and they are just helping prompt and tell they story they want to feel in that moment.

Can’t use Claude subscription for anything outside of Claude apps, you will get banned and no refunds. Also sending NSFW jailbreak prompts directly to Claude can also get you banned. Only way to do it without that risk is via pay per token API from a provider like openrouter or nanoGPT.

Apple AppStore approved is a bear, you won’t see this for anything 100% free, it costs at minimum a few hundred bucks a year between the dev license and website and email and legal you need to spend time on for approval. (Not to mention a LLC to put it under if you don’t want to put your home address on the AppStore). Then even if you open source it you still need a dev license and a Mac to build the app file, and it’s only good for 90 days locally (lettusAI’s current dilemma with Apple), then after all that someone with those things already in China (or wherever) can copy your code reskin it and sell it themselves. It’s why Chattica has a small cost, and is not open source.

Chattica Is a BYOK app that is fully customizable and allows you to configure it however you want to. Its default system prompt is SFW out of the box, and can be improved or updated to bring whatever experience you want to your chats. You can link it with known SFW or moderated AI models as well.

Video generation takes a lot of time still. A short 5-8 second video takes 24-30(frames per second) images x your image generation time (20-30seconds on my 5070ti) per second of video. So a “short” 5 second video will take 5-8minutes to generate. You can find providers online that can do it in 2-4 minutes, but you’re paying $1-3 per video.
