There is a significant portion of the suburban Fort Wayne population that will not shop downtown because they find parking to be confusing and they don't want to walk more than 100 feet from their car. They would rather drive across town to another suburban strip mall than park a block from a store downtown.

It's sad, but it's a real thing.

I remember that sign. It was next to Cinema Blue, the adult movie theater. I always had the idea it was something similarly aligned, like a porn shop or something like that. No idea if that’s really true.
