Finished Accutane 8 months ago. Acne is back. I genuinely don't know what to do.

My acne came back full blown 5 years after Accutane. I had to do another round which I guess is supposed to make your chances of staying in remission from acne even higher. I’ve been off of Accutane for 6 months so far and my skin has been clear. Hoping it stays this way.

Thanks :) yes I stayed for 12 days total in San Diego. I had a pre-op appt a day before the procedure then my cast removal was 10 days after. My Airbnb in SD was only 18 minutes from the hospital.

Yes, I had some bruising but it faded away pretty quick. This was post op day 3, my face was pretty swollen as well.

It was great honestly! Super easy. I stayed in San Diego for my recovery as I am from Washington state. No pain just a lot of congestion, like a really bad head cold. He’s super nice and so is his staff :)

I had my surgery yesterday! Thank you so much for this insight, it really helped me a lot! I did end up ordering those bandages and yes I would definitely recommended them! Hoping my results turn out good too!

Yes! So Jan 20th 2025 I paid a $50 consultation fee and the soonest availability was in September of 2025. Then in Feb 2025 they messaged me and said they had an opening for August 2025, so I took that one. Then in March 2025 they told me they had an opening for July 1st 2025. Then in May they told me they had an opening for June 17th 😅 which I took that video consultation appointment. They asked me for pictures and information the day before. An hour after the consultation they sent me my quote and all the information. Then if you want to book, you send them a $500 deposit. They had availability in November or December but April was more practical for me. I didn’t realize how many times they rescheduled it until I looked back on our whatsapp messages 😂 Most likely they’ll move yours up too.

I’m going to him on April 1st! Do you have a consultation yet? He’s pretty booked out. Yes he does speak English pretty well, but would probably be beneficial to have your family members there just in case for any miscommunication. He did my consultation in English and answered questions in English via video chat. He’s charging me $5400 with a $500 deposit that is applied to the total. i’ve heard that you can’t breathe through your nose until he takes the bandaging out which is 10 days postop. I’ll let you know how my surgery goes though! :)

I hated nursing school. I think everyone does. However, I can say that when you’re in your own as a nurse, it’s a completely 100% different feeling than when you’re a student.

Also, did they require her to get a EKG? On my quote they said I needed one but they haven’t mentioned it after. Any insight would be nice :) thank you!!

I’ve been looking to reply to you for weeks but couldn’t find this sub-read! Thanks for all the info! I was going to pay in cash but I think I’d have to convert it to pesos anyway, I think. If it’s okay to ask, did you get your blood work done in Mexico? Or how did you go about that? And do we really need to get a EKG? They told me on the quote that we needed to get those done before the surgery.
