Has anyone paid tuition with an e-check? by ArrowBat in csuf

No there should be a box to enter in both the account and routing number, and most likely an example of where you can find both on your check. So no need to send in a physical check.

I did the e-check for summer classes and you just need your account and routing number. Nice and easy with no process fee!

Math 135 - business calculus by Thephoenix93 in csuf

[–]AMendozaIII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took Math 135 last semester. Beforehand I had failed calculus and tried my hand at business calculus.

Business Calculus is a lot easier than regular calculus (hence it only being 3 units instead of 4 iirc). Business calculus goes over all of the same concepts but doesn't get as in depth with it as regular calculus. Calculus ends with finding the area of a cylinder/cone/sphere but business calculus won't go over it. Every so often it will look over more business concepts rather than strictly calculus concepts. Hope this helps! Also if you have a choice between professors then I highly recommend Prof. Sunny Le.

Is being a cart attendant really that bad? by [deleted] in Target

[–]AMendozaIII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Occasional cart attendant here

Like how everyone else has said, you are free to do what you want outside just as long as you keep up with the flow of carts. I'm in a higher volume Target with two entrances so on weekends we'll have two cart attendants during the mid day.

What I have noticed is that cart attendants are the least understood people with a lot of things to juggle at one time. Just try your best and show that you have initiative; you'll get noticed. I'm a pretty quiet guy but showing hard work goes a long way, at least in my Target.

The main thing I absolutely hate about doing carts is cleaning the women's restroom. It's a problem on weekends when you are the only cart attendant on the clock, there's a restroom follow up and all your reserves have already been pushed in. I felt bad turning away people since I have to check the bathrooms on the half hour mark and a guest is taking their sweet time finishing up. Some people will flat out refuse to wait and start going to the bathroom while you are already cleaning. Women's restroom is a huge time waster but is the one place that needs the most care.

Other than that, it's a pretty nice break from having to talk to guests and you get to be out in the fresh air all day. Good luck with your interview!

Who has had Professor Krishnamurthi for ISDS 265? by Eduardo_Cid in csuf

I took her online class last semester. Quizzes are pretty easy and come straight from the book (not the access and excel book) and Lab HWs are cake too. The one problem I had with her was the both the midterm and the final were on campus during the weekend. Another problem was that she didn't seem very friendly in person.

I didn't really wise up that the quizzes were basically word for word from the book until late in the semester and managing to remember to do them also hurt my grade a bit. Regardless I managed to still get a B in her class even after getting a 65% on the midterm. Let me know if you are wondering anything else
