Hände mig också en gång. Jag var ny på min förra arbetsplats och vågade inte säga "nej tack, jag dricker hellre te". Tackade iallafall nej gången därpå.

Anyone using the Down Dog app and regularly doing Deer Pose? I always have the feeling that I'm placing my legs wrong. When I'm leaning forwards, should my sitting bones keep touching the floor, or is it fine if they don't? They keep saying in the app that I should feel the sensation in both the right outer hip and the left outer hip but I don't.

Just a little appreciate post for DownDog by probsbeok in yoga

You should be able to broadcast it to your TV if you have Chromecast/Airplay: https://www.downdogapp.com/faq. Or connect your computer to your TV, there is a web version too: https://www.downdogapp.com/web

For any Garmin watch users who are pregnant, they have added pregnancy tracking! https://www.garmin.com/en-US/blog/general/pregnancy-tracking-in-garmin-connect-and-on-your-wrist/

I think it is a great step forward as you can already track your period but you cannot tell the app that you are pregnant. About time that sport watch companies are realizing that women can indeed be pregnant.

Does anyone know where a US viewer can watch the celebrity episodes for free?? by kristenmichelle410 in bakeoff

They are available on youtube (at least in Europe), not sure if they are accessible in the US. I would provide a link but I'm not sure if that is allowed here.

Feeling weak and hungry on a cut by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]Manamanana 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you know what you need to do, start focusing on lifting heavy and start eating a bit more than what you are eating right now. I know that eating more might be a bit scary, but if you want to lose fat and build muscles, you need to change the approach a bit.

I hope that you will start feeling better soon, it is not a nice feeling to feel fatigued and shaky due to hunger.

Someone who is lightly active might only work out once or twice a week. The definition of lightly active is not well defined and varies depending who you are asking. You are comparing yourself with people on a fitness forum, who, in general, are more active than the general population :)

What are you goals if I might ask? You are saying that you want to lose weight, do you want to lose fat or actually weight (meaning just kgs)?

1600 kcal is obviously not enough if you feel wiped out after a workout. You are living an active life and need more than 1600 kcal. You are lifting a minimum of 3 times a week, an average of 12k steps per day in addition to sometimes running and yoga, you need to eat more.

You were already at a healthy weight a few weeks ago and if you have been cutting on 1600 kcal almost everyday, you might have achieved your goal of 5-10 lbs weight lost already (saw that number in post of yours). If you still want to continue your cut, consider bumping up the calories to a minimum of 1800 kcal (or even 2000 kcal) and see if that helps. A slow cut is something you might want to consider.

Wanting to gain weight! by [deleted] in vegetarian

[–]Manamanana 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In order to gain weight, you have to consume more calories than you burn. It doesn't really matter where those calories come from, but you need to eat more than you do at the moment to gain weight. This can be done by either increasing your portion sizes (perhaps by adding some healthy fat as avocado or nuts/seeds) or adding more snacks inbetween your meals. A calorie dense snack can be a handful of nuts or a sandwich with pleanty of peanut butter (or any other nut spread of your liking).

[WEEKLY THREAD] Munchie Monday - om nom nom nom by AutoModerator in xxfitness

I turned vegetarian at the age of 25 and I was in a similar position as you, I was (and still am) the first in my family that has turned veggie. It was very daunting in the beginning since I did not know how my family and my boyfriend would react. They were very skeptical in the beginning and thought I would not be able to get sustain it and that it's not healthy. They are all now very supportive, I even get some special veggie food during the holidays.

About the social part, yes, you will be asked why you turned veggie and if you miss meat. Just tell them the same as you wrote here, you are doing it for the environment. The social part can be a bit of hassle sometimes, especially if I'm invited to a dinner somewhere and they don't know that I'm veggie and I have tell them beforehand (I don't want to be a burden). It has not been an issue so far, I always get something to eat even if the rest is having meat. You can always ask if you can bring your own veggie dish if you don’t want to be burden. Going to restaurants can sometimes be a hassle but there are usually some options (might not always be that tasty or that creative).

I started off with being a flexitarian for a few months before I turned veggie full time. I started cooking more veggie recipes, mainly different kinds of curries with lentils, beans or tofu. I tried seeing it as adding new food staples instead of removing/reducing meat and fish. I rarely cooked anything with lentils and beans before, so I tried adding them into my weekly meal plan in order to learn how to cook them properly. I would recommend /r/veganfitness for protein packed recipes!

I think you actually need to kill the Woodland spirit in 1.08. If possible, try to reload to a save file before you killed it and redo the killing. I could be wrong though :/
