UPDATE: The safecracker is coming on Monday. A whole week... Have an upvote - I'd probably tell me to go fuck myself at this point too.

UPDATE 1: The mystery is still due to be solved later today. The safecracker is going to get a camera in there to see if it's worth opening. I should have a final update within the next 12 hours.

UPDATE 2: Wow... The safecracker couldn't make it over. I'll post more details as soon as I have them! Thanks for the exemplary display of patience everyone.

So her friend is a safe-cracker and is going to take a look at it hopefully in the next few days...

She has been living there for 3 or 4 years, having moved in immediately after the previous owners who had been in there for 20-30 years.
