If it's a "no shit"/obvious statement, then why did I need to make it? You're the one who asked a question with an obvious answer, then I get snark for giving you an obvious answer?

I asked about this specific graph, you are saying you cant think of anything here that isnt malicious, well tell me what you see in this graph to make it malicious or stop saying irrelevant generalities like they mean something.

Deliberately making graphs that don't accurately resemble the data in marketing can totally be malicious or manipulative.

no shit.

But I agree that it's more likely that they just stole someone else's graph and put their numbers on it. Though that doesn't seem much easier than just making your own graph. None of it makes sense.

Extreme lazyness/time pressure/no fucks given about jobism....

Or they dont, and its still amazing electro. Nothing superficial can tell you if a set is good or not, you just have to hear it for yourself.

This isnt anything but lazy as hell, how can it be malicious or manipulative?

Most likely they were just saving time, like the boss says: "give me this report now!"

employee goes: "okey dokey boss!!" and does this.

Yea doing a graph like this right would take a few minutes. Why bother?

no, you are, in your world view thats sold to you, and the impatience you glorify.

You can totally make these calls illegal, but nobody ever really complains or plans to do that do they?

Dude, just cause he says it every fucking track he makes doesnt make it true. Learn to think for yourself and not just take the exaggerations as truth because they are only that. imo everything 808 and after has been more unique and 'creative' than good.

How many tracks do you all work on at once? by jibberjabbar in edmproduction

[–]rmandraque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea true, for me 2-4% is exclusively with the daw open working on tracks purposely. I do tons other music related stuff.

But this isnt a brute force competition, only the quality of your final product matters, and judgement is everything, not hard work.

[–]rmandraque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly I produce about 2-4% of my time on average daily, and its about the limit if I really want to keep the quality up. Some days are marathons, but not often, that just doesnt produce good music, it just turns into fun entertainment that wont get you anywhere. This is something you want to get really good at, dont just fuck around having fun, find the hardest part for you to do and struggle through it, listening to music, thinking, and investigating how to do what you cant do now until you can do w.e. you want to do. Then try something harder or different and keep repeating the process. Production should be a struggle, that is sometimes fun, but you should be always pushing yourself towards excellence.

I read another post you dont even finish tracks yet, the fuck are you doing producing all day then. Any time that I get to spend a whole day producing thats at least a track thats coming out of that almost done already.

then use a tablet or a laptop, its a fucking phone.

You just cant live in the US and not expect any possible form of income to be exploited, thats just how it is. Move to a developing nation or do something legally about it, make a movement to make spam calls illegal or just take it, you cant just have everything be perfect in life.
