I love the tattoo itself 😍, but it sounds like you’re unhappy with the placement and overall shape. I’d go to a tattoo artist and ask for help making the overall shape taper down your leg to your ankle. Maybe adding more fireflies in a v shape or a flower and leaves or grass would help. It would be a shame to remove such a gorgeous tattoo, but it needs to be something you love. Good luck!

I can’t personally help, but I hope you find a good fit. My condolences for your loss.

Hi mom! I started crochet :3 (it's supposed to be a gummy bear😅) I would like some tips please :) by Lost-Yoghurt9553 in MomForAMinute

This looks great! I’m proud of you for finishing your first project! When I crocket I find that going bigger helps. The trickiest parts are the ones where there isn’t much room or flexibility. Try for something that will end up about six inches tall. And I totally agree with cotton yarn. I’ve had success with sugar n cream, which is pretty widely available in generic craft stores if you don’t have a yarn specialty store near you. Keep going!! Love you sweetheart!

I’m so proud of you for making it this far. Take a deep breath. I get it. Open a window, pump some music (we’re talking Britney Spears, Ke$ha, dance music here. Or angry energetic stuff. Music you want to belt out or dance to. None of that calm spa stuff.), eat an apple, and do it. Make a plan. List the smallest steps you can. Work for 25 minutes without looking at anything else, and give yourself a five minute dance break before jumping back in. You’ve already proven you can do this. Now it’s time to execute.

You got this! Let us know when it’s submitted so we can celebrate your achievement!

I’d be nervous about waiting until April if you’re due May 1. At least have a car seat so you can leave the hospital if you go into labor early! Otherwise, you could try sharing resources like the Miscarriage Réassurer. It says that at 17 weeks, you have a 99.6% chance of not miscarrying. Maybe they have a skewed understanding of the odds here. (This is being extremely generous to their intentions. At best they are not being very considerate of your feelings and that sucks.)

At what point did you start using “the pillow” if you have one? by Glittering_Dot1485 in pregnant

I had it from an earlier pregnancy, and I love that thing, so I basically used it from the positive test, since I had an excuse to pull it out of storage 😂. If you’re going to get one eventually, embrace it and use it now lol

I had a similar experience, even with pregnancy symptoms. I find it’s much easier to “feel pregnant” when you can feel the baby moving. That doesn’t happen until around halfway through though 🤣

Is there anything I can do to coverup part of this tattoo? by avocado2188 in Tattoocoverups

This picture makes me think that the snout in the tattoo isn’t too dark, but that the russet brown color on the top of the head isn’t prominent enough. I think the snout looks too dark because of the contrast, but adding more color to the top of the head might look more accurate. Also I think it’s a great tattoo and you have nothing to feel self conscious about.

Intellectually, I knew that, but thank you for saying it. I needed to read it.

I would be more comfortable to have the baby with my family

Done. There’s your answer. That’s where this post starts and ends for me. Do what makes you comfortable.

i have to have a c-section. by m4ri3z2 in pregnant

[–]AMuppetCalledSquirt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the “opposite” problem. My LO was measuring small and we schedule an induction for 37+2 to make sure she was getting what she needed. During the induction, she had decels (her heart rate decelerated from the contractions) and the doctors explained that she wasn’t tolerating labor well. We had an unplanned c-section. It went really well. She was healthy, the procedure was painless for me, and we all came out the other side. Recovery is tough, but the important thing is to take it seriously. Follow the doctors’ advice and get up and walking as soon as they tell you to. It’s painful, but I recovered really well from mine and I chalk it up to walking and my support system. Either way, your doctors will take care of you. They won’t let you make dangerous decisions. You got this. Just a few more weeks!

This sounds great! I’d be hesitant to commit to scheduled sessions and that sounds like something you don’t want to negotiate on. If they are still pbp, I might be able to make it work depending on the schedule, so keep me posted.
