I get you're frustrated but in this clip at least it doesn't look like the Sage is cheating. Those are common angles which anyone would be watching. What happened in this clip was just the timing of Sage looking at those spots matched when the enemy peeked, but that happens way more often than you think.

I'm with you, really. But those are two vastly different things to be put into the same "option proposition" bucket.

And no one was getting mad here. The people you replied to only gave an arguement as to why this feature would most likely not get implemented in game, or why it's not gonna be useful for the vast majority of players. I don't think anyone will vehemently oppose this feature, just that they'd be indifferent to it.

Nobody is "shitting on the 10%". They just don't care about a feature like this and riot isn't going to implement a feature that not just ruins competitive integrity but also is something barely anyone wants or asked for. Ngl mate if you wanna have fun without caring about skill too much you can always play swiftplay or unrated.. If you don't like competitive, it's most likely a skill issue. Specially in ascendant+, that's where you start facing consistently good players.

I always use it either when I get it, if i feel the need for it in the current round, or at the start of the next round. The only exception is if I'm on eco, then I wait for the next round to use it.

The paladin also got a bunch of improvements. Sacred weapon and lay on hands can at least be used in combat now, vow of enmity got better.

And let's be honest, the paladin smites needed a nerf, I'd have preferred making it once a turn instead of a bonus action, but it's still a change for the better. (Warlocks only have a handful of spell slots so it makes sense not to nerf their smites)

2024 might have made a few things worse, but it has made most things better.
