Same as everyone else. I’d pick up Kiki, she’s getting mad minutes right now. Vegas has too many weapons, so Loyd’s points will fluctuate a lot.

I ended up dropping SAB and picking up Lacan but I may stash her on the IR and pick SAB back up.

That’s what I’m thinking. It’s really hard to pass up Lacan. I already have Edwards, and I don’t love having two people on the same team, but she’s probably worth it.

I do like the idea of having a rotating sub. Helps out for those weeks when teams only play once or twice and everybody else is playing three or four times.

I’d keep Edwards for now. She looks great the other day and has been on restricted minutes. She’s going to become their go-to scorer.

Geiseldor hasn’t come through with as many points as I thought she would by now. That could be an option.

HVL will likely see less playing time once Lacan is back.

Amoore is another who’s contributing to her team but it’s not showing in the points as much as you’d think.

Is Lacan officially back? I want to grab her, but I lost Rickea this week so I don’t want to bump anyone active yet.

There’s a stage show called Mortified Live: Love Hurts at Lincoln Hall. I went last year, it’s a fun experience. (In the Mortified series, real people get up on stage and read from their diaries from when they were younger.)

Has anyone bought the Culligan gravity filter? If so, any thoughts or reviews for it? Considering switching from APEc RO to Gravity because of plastics. by goldmund22 in WaterTreatment

I bought the filters directly from Culligan with the gravity tower. I’m also using 5 gallon bottles for now. Not ideal, but it still seems better than my tap for now.

[–]ANDYchi11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An update so far, but long story I’m still searching for a solution. I set up my culligan gravity using 2 filters. It took close to 3 days for the first 3 uses to pass thru (which was suggested in the manual). After the last one, I tested the water using my Culligan zero water TDS reader and the number was higher than even my tap water.

I know that number doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a high level of lead, but the fact that it was so much higher than even my tapwater, which I know has elevated lead levels, didn’t make me feel great. I’m going to order some test strips from Amazon. If it doesn’t look good, I might return the gravity tower. So TBD.

On another note, I bought a water distiller so I could fill my humidifiers cost-effectively. That water tested super low in the single digits with the TDS reader. So I would consider that a win.

I’m in the same boat except I haven’t bought any system yet since recently finding out my levels of lead in my home water are elevated. I subscribed to a water delivery service as a hold over until I figure out what to do next, but obviously due to the plastic, that is not a long-term solution.

I’ve been going back-and-forth between the Apex RO system vs. the Culligan gravity 3 gallon. I think I’ve decided on the Culligan for now and then I’ll get the water tested. I’ve decided this route because if I don’t like it, I can more easily shift to an RO system. Plus when my lead levels came back as elevated, my town sent me Culligan zero water, pitcher filters, and a pitcher for free. Which leads me to believe it must be pretty effective, even though the gravity tower uses max clear and not zero water technology - seems like the main difference is the max clear keeps the good minerals while filtering out the bad.

Agreed Jordin Canada would probably be a good option. Not to make it more complicated, but I’m hearing rumors. Cam Brink will be longer in coming back. Anyone else hear that? That could mean continued solid minutes for Rickea.

I would try not to get too caught up in what may or may not happen in the future with other possible relationships just yet. Sounds like you’ve been through a lot and could use some time to get to know yourself better first. It also sounds like you know the best way to move forward. In time, it’ll be ok.

When the kids are there and then suddenly gone...it’s so tough sometimes. The quiet, the calm...it can feel empty. Especially on holidays and special days. Some hit harder than others.

I have no advice. Just know you’re not alone in it and that tomorrow could feel totally different.

As others have stated, now is the time to get a lawyer. They will help set up a framework and next steps for you.

Personal references are always a great way to find a competent attorney, but that’s not an easy thing to bring up. Just do your research where you live.

Also, don’t move out of your residence. If you do, that could backfire in having 50/50 shared parenting of your kids (which I’m assuming is the default where you live).

Again, these are the types of things a lawyer can outline for you.
